I call myself a romance painter.
There are deep truths at the heart of American culture — primal, unshakable, and increasingly unnoticed. I paint to tease them out for everyone to feel. My work is an invitation to step into a world where chivalry still matters, and integrity runs as deep as our love for the land. Those who know it will understand: to love is to expose yourself to pain, and to devote yourself to it is to truly know gratitude.
I paint that kind of romance.
